A Message from RM’s Founder
Upon surrendering my life to Jesus Christ came a passionate desire to use my gifts to do the LORD’s work for the Glory of his Kingdom. As a new Christian I marvel in all things of Jesus especially his Ministry of love and the relationships he inspired. How he so effectively reached out and personally mobilized the communities around him.
When I was saved, GOD in his infinite wisdom, placed me in a Church in arguably one of the main ‘at risk’ neighborhoods in Toronto. I immediately noted, in my new church’s community, there was a church on every corner. Indeed within two miles around my church, I proceeded to reach out and fellowship with more than 50 churches of all sizes and denominations. The LORD revealed to me the blessings for those who reached outside of their own Church communities. I sensed this would play a significant role in his unique plan for me.
However, I was puzzled that with so many churches and people of faith there where still so few significant community breakthroughs. We had the numbers of faithful on the ground, but apparently we were being robbed of organization and momentum. Churches and their Ministries I witnessed often operated as Islands onto themselves, winning small skirmishes but losing larger battles. In light of this I started praying and working with my Church’s Youth and Outreach Ministries..
As our LORD is one who always answers the prayers of his faithful Jesus answered mine in the form of a groundbreaking Relationship Based Ministry. I am humbled by the belief in me he has demonstrated by revealing this powerful Ministry for Churches/Ministries who recognize there is much to do in our communities and believe that together —in GOD’S will— we can do anything.
